i can predict they will be only assist, since i'll be pointless to use one of them individualy, but who knows maybe CyberConnect2 got something special for us like tag batlles so that it makes some sense, i hope they do.
If I'm not mistaken it was mentioned in an interview that storm 3 will not have support only characters. So maybe they will be in but something like pain perhaps, with one of them being the main character and the other appearing in combos, jutsu, ougi etc.
